  Ama Codjoe    Ama CODJOE was raised in Youngstown, Ohio with roots in Memphis and Accra. She has been awarded support from Saltonstall Foundation, Cave Canem Foundation, Callaloo Creative Writing Workshop and MacDowell Colony. Her recent poems have appeared or are forthcoming in  Virginia Quarterly Review, Callaloo, Four Way Review, Adroit Journal  and elsewhere. She is a two-time Pushcart nominee. In 2017, Ama was awarded a Rona Jaffe Writer’s Award.

 Emily Smith  Emily Smith received her BFA from Alfred University. SHE co-­founded the Six and Four Articulations Contemporary Touring Dance Company. She was a member of Layla Mrozowski’s “BAAD” Bicycle Awesome Adventure Dance Tour AND PERFORMED in works by Steve Paxton at the MOMA and IN Ryan McNamara’s MEƎM: in Performa. She is the artistic director of “NOT for reTALE”, creating kinetic sculptures and performanceS. She and Elena Rose Light co-produce and curate Fete. She is a former member of the dance company Leimay at "the Cave" in Williamsburg.

Emily Smith

 Adrian Coto  Originally from Los Angeles, California, Adrian Coto is a Mexican American poet and writer. He has been published in the  Blue River Journal ,  Contrapuntos , and the  Shallow Ends,  among others, and received an MFA in Creative Writing from New York University.

His poetry and collaborations have been featured on NPR, PBS NewsHour, Poetry Daily, and with the National Endowment for the Arts, the Academy of American Poets and the Poetry Society of America. Thomas is the artistic director of Emotive Fruition, an organization dedicated to bringing poetry to life on stage, in schools, and in hospitals. A recipient of a 2016 James Merrill Fellowship and a practitioner of narrative medicine, Thomas is the Poet-in-Residence at New York Presbyterian Columbia University Medical Center.
